ABOUT PROJECT
This is a student project on the subject "Book Design". The task was to reproduce visually the characteristics and features of a font we randomly selected.
We researched and analyzed characteristics such as glyphs, weights , unique feature e.t.
ABOUT FONT
"Vollkorn" was created in 2005. It intends to be a quiet, modest and high quality text face for bread and butter use in all types of web and print products. Vollkorn means "wholegrain" in German which refers to the old term “Brotschrift” [literally ‘bread type’] which described the small fonts for every day use in the days of hand-compositing.
